The Rapture fairway wood was introduced in 2007, Manufactured from 100% titanium, the large-headed Rapture Fairway Woods offer exceptional forgiveness. The Rapture Fairway Wood has a thin titanium face for maximum distance. The Rapture's internal weight pad positioned directly below the centre of gravity increases the launch angle and reduces spin to produce high, penetrating shots. The Rapture Fairway wood is available in three lofts:
3-wood, 14 degrees of loft - 229cc head
5-wood, 17 degrees of loft - 192cc head
7-wood, 20 degrees of loft - 163cc head

The PING Rapture V2 Fairway wood is designed with a tungsten sole plate which positions the centre of gravity low and back in the club to ensure higher launch and reduced spin. The shallow face and wide sole of the Rapture V2 wood ensures stability and forgiveness. The Rapture V2 fairway wood has a three piece construction that merges a tungsten sole plate and stainless steel body with a plasma welded machined steel face to increase the ball speed for more distance. The Rapture V2 wood is available in four loft configurations:
3-wood, 16 degree loft, 171cc head
4-wood, 17.5 degree loft, 169cc head
5-wood, 19 degree loft, 165cc head
7-wood, 22 degree loft, 160cc head
